Return & Refund Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

We want every Siteryn product to work well for your store. Because our plugins and themes are digital products, there is nothing physical to return — this policy explains when we offer a refund instead, and how to request one.

If a product page states a different refund period or condition, the terms on that product page apply to that product.

1. Try before you buy

Most Siteryn products have a free version, a live demo or detailed documentation. Please try them, and ask our team any pre-sales questions through our contact form, before you buy — it is the quickest way to make sure a product is right for you.

2. Talk to support first

Most problems — a conflict with another plugin, a missed setup step or an outdated version — can be fixed quickly. Before asking for a refund, please open a support ticket or email hello@siteryn.com with your order number, a description of the problem and, if relevant, your website address, and give us a fair chance to help.

3. Our 14-day refund window

  • First purchase of a license — you can request a refund within 14 days of your purchase, provided the license has not been used beyond a reasonable evaluation on a live website.
  • Subscription renewals — renewal payments are not refunded. You can turn off automatic renewal at any time from your account, and we email you a reminder before each renewal.
  • Cancelling — cancelling stops future payments. Your license stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for; cancelling does not refund the current period.

4. When we will refund

Within the refund window, we will refund your purchase if:

  • the product does not work as described and our support team cannot fix the problem within a reasonable time — in that case you can choose a refund, a fix or a replacement product;
  • the product is materially different from its description on our website; or
  • you were charged by mistake, for example a duplicate payment for the same order.

Duplicate or mistaken charges are refunded whenever you tell us, even after 14 days.

5. When a refund is not available

  • The request is made after the 14-day refund window.
  • You have changed your mind after the refund window has ended.
  • The problem is caused by heavily customised code, your hosting environment or a conflicting third-party plugin or theme, and you have not given our support team the chance to look into it.
  • The product does not include a feature that is not listed on its product page.
  • The license has been misused — for example, used on more websites than your plan allows, or its key shared publicly or with others.
  • The payment is a subscription renewal that was not cancelled before the renewal date.
  • The purchase was made with a coupon, as part of a bundle, or during a special promotion — unless one of the reasons in section 4 applies.
  • A chargeback or payment dispute has been opened for the payment; it is then handled by the payment provider.

6. How to request a refund

Email hello@siteryn.com, send us a message through our contact form (choose the topic “Refund request”), or open a support ticket from your account. Please include:

  • your order number (shown in your account and in your order confirmation email);
  • the product name; and
  • the reason for your request.

We may ask a few questions to confirm that the request is eligible. We reply within one business day.

7. What happens after a refund is approved

  • The license from that purchase is deactivated, and access to downloads, updates and premium support for the product ends. The Pro features are switched off on the websites where it was activated; the free version keeps working.
  • If the purchase was a subscription, it is cancelled, so no further payments are taken.
  • The refund is made to your original payment method through the same payment provider (Stripe, PayPal or Paddle). Where Paddle was the merchant of record for your order, Paddle issues the refund. Depending on your bank or provider, it can take up to 14 business days to appear in your account.

8. Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country with similar laws, you normally have a right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. Our products are digital content supplied immediately: by downloading or activating a product after purchase, you request that we start supplying it right away and acknowledge that your statutory right of withdrawal ends once supply has begun.

This does not affect your legal rights if a product is faulty or not as described, or any other rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
